In a distinguished academic and cultural achievement, Dr. Bakhtiar Sajjadi, a faculty member at the University of Kurdistan, has been appointed as the sole Iranian member of the Scientific Council of the Kurdish Language and Literature Academy (Kurdish Language Academy). University of Kurdistan Professor Becomes the Sole Iranian Member of the Kurdish Language and Literature Academy

According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, in a significant international academic and cultural achievement, Dr. Bakhtiar Sajjadi, a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature and a founder of the Kurdish Language and Literature program at the university, has been appointed as a member of the Scientific Council of the Kurdish Language and Literature Academy (Kurdish Language Academy) by a decree from its president.
The Academy, headquartered in Erbil (Kurdistan Region of Iraq), is the sole official institution for the Kurdish language and literature, and its Scientific Council comprises 25 distinguished members from around the world. Dr. Bakhtiar Sajjadi is the only Iranian member of this prestigious international academic body.

This appointment, which reflects Dr. Sajjadi's expertise and eminent academic standing at a global level, is a great honor for the academic communities of the University of Kurdistan and the nation. As the first Head of the Department of Kurdish Language and Literature at the university, he played a pivotal role in the establishment and development of this field of study.
