Strategic Plan of the University of Kurdistan

University of Kurdistan's Vision for 2025

The University of Kurdistan's vision for 2025 is to be a comprehensive, research-oriented, and entrepreneurial institution committed to educational excellence and the advancement of knowledge. It aims to become one of the preeminent academic institutions in western Iran by cultivating devout and capable graduates and expanding its regional, national, and international collaborations.

Prior to formulating the university's strategy, it is essential for its leadership to reach a consensus on the institution's raison d'être (mission), its attitudes, behaviors, and characteristics (values), and its strategic objectives. The mission and values of a university typically remain stable and enduring over time. The vision, while not as constant as the mission and values, generally remains unchanged within a 3- or 5-year plan. Despite this stability, most organizations, including universities and higher education centers, commence their strategy development process with an annual review and reaffirmation of these statements. This section will define the organization's philosophy (mission), its attitudes and characteristics (values), and the university's strategic goals.
