
Faculty of Agriculture Introduction
The Faculty of Agriculture is one of the first faculties established at the University of Kurdistan, encompassing approximately 8742 square meters of educational, laboratory, administrative, and service spaces, 1200 square meters of greenhouse space, and 805 square meters of workshop space. This faculty comprises 10 academic departments, including Animal Sciences, Plant Production and Genetics Engineering, Plant Protection, Horticultural Sciences and Engineering, Water Sciences and Engineering, Soil Sciences and Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension and Education, Biosystems Engineering, and Food Science and Technology. The Faculty of Agriculture has 74 faculty members, consisting of experienced professors and motivated, hardworking young academics. Among them, 10 hold the rank of full professor, 38 are associate professors, 25 are assistant professors, and one is an instructor. Additionally, the faculty has 23 administrative staff and laboratory experts.
